Pipe > 20mm manufactured with SAW longitudinal seam has a precisely machined weld preparation. It is not done with a square butt. Are you aiming for a low quality product or one for pressure piping or pipeline service.

Hi friends,

 

I want a WPS (incl PQR) for the following parameters, if anyone is having, please share it, it will help us a lot for me…

 

Material – IS 2062 (or Pno 1)

Thickness – above 20mm.

Process – SAW – (No SMAW, No Tig and etc)

Joint configuration – Square butt, both sides welding.

Application – pipe welding (manufacturing at factory)
