Re: [MW:24533] IGC-Test as per A262 Practice E

I have mostly seen Tube manufacturers follow water quenching after Solution Annealing.

Only care you can take is ensure chloride content of water upto 25ppm max. and water quenching to be done immediately and should not exceed more than 3 minutes after SA.

Tube Matl--- ASS 316L

 Dimension--- Dia 38.1 X 4.06 mm thick

  R/D ratio=1

Cold bending followed by Solution Annealing ( Water or Air quencing, advice required to choose Air or Water),

Followed by IGC as per A262 Practice E
