Normally Shop made Piping spools are not leak tested inspite of RT done but it will be done at site. So noway RT can replace leak test??

Hi,

If RT s not possible, please go for alternate NDE methods such as UT upon your client's approval. We cannot say a joint is sound if it has survived the pressure/leak test.

Dear Members ,

Please clarify that whether in any circumstances we could substitute RT with pressure / any leak test for services where RT is been included as a inspection method.
