Dear Mr. Himan,

Normally, Inconels are higkly corrosion resistant alloys, which do not
need passivation. However, you are advised to show assemby drawing near
welded area which needs to be looked into.

Dear Friends


I have stone trap which will be made from API 5L-X52 that inner side
overlaied by Inconel, I want to know we shall clean welded separate
pipes welded area by acid pickling or any passivation is mandatory???


I will be appreciated if anybody can help me.
