[MW:13030] rectifcation method for damaged vessel parts during transportation to site

Dear all,

Greetings.

Vessel nozzles are damaged & tilted due to collision with Bridge during transportation to Site. Vessel was fabricated as per ASME SEC VIII DIV 1. Vessel service - Sever Sour service. PWHT is required because of Service requirement.

One nozzle (6" NPS) is tilted and two other nozzles (30 "NPS) are damaged on gasket face and flange face. Shell Material – SA 516 GR 60 HIC NACE (thickness is 19 mm). Please refer attached Photos.

I believe Visual Inspection & MT/PT can be performed to detect any surface Crack on the affected Nozzles and Shell surfaces of the Vessel. Ovality shall be checked on the affected Nozzle areas.

Also Visual and MT/PT can be done for ALL WELDS of the Vessels.

please advise whther UT is also required.

Please advise the steps to rectify the problem. Also give code reference.

Thanks & Regards

Asad Azmi
