For this u no need to go for to code also. As this is carbon steel having only 10mm thickness . there is no chance of stress developing.Go through metallurgy of steel (CS,SS, AS) in AWS hand book  volume 4. And u should refer standards for confirmation of thickness limitation.

Hi,
No need to do PWHT as per API650-5.7.4 for material group I,II,III or IIA the thickness is less than 25mm,unless otherwise specified in Project Spec.

Dear experts,
 
        Do we need to have PWHT for the plates of SA516 Gr 60 and thickness is just 10mm wall thickness and construction code is API 650 while preparing for PQR. I am not able to understand the requirements as per the code.
 
Can somebody guide me please?
