[MW:13017] Dissimilar base metal thicknesses

Dear Experts,  As per ASME Section IX....dissimilar base metal thickness clause....for P no.8 if the base metal thickness is greater than 6 mm ....then it is qualified for unlimited base metal thk..................my question is if we have two diff thk 10 mm and 10.5 mm for p no.8 pqr ....then what would be the thk. limits according to this clause only not as per QW 451 table.............also if the same case is for P no.1 to P no.8 material then this clause is applicable or not ?................For considering Dissimilar thk what sholud be the minimum diiference between two base metals to be joined ? ................For example can we consider 10 mm and 10.1 mm as dissimilar thknesses as per ASME section IX?
