SECTION I

Table PW-11 is requiring volumetric examination (either RT or UT).

In the notes of this table is mentioned that when the thickness is less than 13 mm, then RT shall be used

SECTION B31.1

this section is referenced in SECTION I. So the above requirement applies

Can we perform  UT on the pipe joints as per ASME Sec 1 or B31.1 instead of RT.

Pls clarify with code references.
