[MW:27578] Re: PQR (B31.3 vs B31.1)

Dear

If project spec. simply says only ASME Sec. IX on welding qualification requirements, you can use the PQR as it is.

Suppose, project spec specifies any additional tests during PQR, then you have to go for new PQR incorporating all project specific variables / requirements.

B31.1 OR B31.3 does not deal with any welding qualification requirements.

Dear experts.

I have a PQR for P1 (GTAW, PWHT)qualified with Sec IX and B31.3. Is this PQR can used to supporte PQR in a power plant project that the code is B31.1.
