For ASME BPV Sec 1, Unless Table PW-11 restricts volumetric examination to one method, either the radiographic or the ultrasonic method may be used.

Can we perform  UT on the pipe joints as per ASME Sec 1 or B31.1 instead of RT.
Pls clarify with code references.
