Dear Tamilselvan,
 

Holes  may be closed with a full-penetration weld using either a welded plug or weld metal. The thickness of the weld and plug shall be greater than or equal to the thickness and  finished weld shall be examined by the magnetic particle or liquid penetrant method in accordance with code. Full volumetric inspection of the weld in accordance with code and shall be performed in addition to any examinations required by the material specification.
