my WPS is according to AWS D1.1 . for structural steel construction .

So, if I do not need to test again PQR , I just rewrite welding process layer .

Dear experts,

 i have one question, and I need your help. Thanks first

My WPS is SAW, qualified for tube OD = 2000mm spiral welding pipe sheet pipe.

my WPS is for splicing 2 pipe ( that mean you connecting 2 pipe together )

 the joint design is X bevel

and the layer step of welding is: 

1. GMAW at root

2. cover out side SAW

3. cover inside SAW

so now if I want to change the step welding layer to:

1. GMAW at root

2. cover inside SAW

3.cover out side SAW

 and all other parameters are not change

=>> so my question is . Do I need to requalify my WPS, OR I just rewrite WPS and keep the original PQR,no need to test PQR again
