[MW:23292] Weld overlay of Duplex Stainless steel over 316L:

A vessel we have, had the issue of preferential weld erosion corrosion as compared to parent metal (shell course/dished head), up to the height of ~3.5m from bottom dished head. It was repaired by welding. Require advice on suitability of weld overlaying of above specified affected area (say 3.5 to 4m height) by duplex /super duplex stainless steel (e.g. 2707 grade).
