Re: [MW:21985] Weld Repair limitation

Well , is there any supporting document ? Because there is been a situation where a 30" pipe , 31.75WT pipe RT ( R2 ) was rejected as it had 4mm slag and had to be cut out . The production /execution don't want to cut out but repair it . So practically ,  performing a cut out for 4 mm slag is necessary ? In order to convince the client I need to produce supporting document .

Thanks and Regards
