[MW:21978] A-number as per ASME section IX.

Dear All,

I have one doubt.

In section IX A-number specified for mild steel is 1 and when we see the chemistry of the filler metal in section II part c the range specified is going beyond the specified limit Si - 1% and Mn - 1.6% as per section IX.  if a batch of carbon steel filler metal having Sil 1.03 and Mn. 1.6 % then in which A-number we can consider and shall we qualified a new procedure for this particular batch and which A-number we will assign.

Thanks in advance,
Manoj.
