RE: [MW:21922] Hydrotest of Heat exhanger.

Dear,

If you check documents supplied by HE manufacturer, Hydro test certificate/Report supplied by HE manufacturer and endorsed by Inspection agency will be there. If it is available no need to test it again. You need to check only piping done at site. However HE will also be pressurised while doing hydro test but no need to check joints of HE which already tested.

However Pl. note, If your HE is vertically installed and manufacturer has done hydro test in horizontal condition. Than you have to check if any requirement is there to check hydro test of HE in vertically installed condition.

Best regards,

Sachin Varia

Warm greetings ,

You should be having the certificates of the HE or any document that states that it has been tested . Go ahead only with the piping hydrostatic test .

Not required. you can isolate HE and test only piping.
