[MW:21974] Weld Repair limitation

Warm Greetings ,

In piping how many times can a weld be repaired ??? is there any restriction to the number of times like R1 , R2 and then cutout . Does any code state that the only two times the repair can be done and further it has to be cut out . Can you please help me the codes for weld repair .
