Dear  Jhon Sir

As per QW 423.1 -unassigned material with similar chemical composition also included
in that case no need to go further new performance qualification if unassigned material have similar chemical composition with previous any qualification ,

This is my interpretation, is correct or not please advise.

No welder requalification is not required, provided all other requirements of QW-353 are met, and only Section IX qualification is required..

While Table QW-353 states QW-403.18 is an essential variable one has to look further.  QW-403.18 states:

So one has to look again further at QW-423, Alternate Base Materials for Welder Qualification:  There is no distinction made between P8 and P10H as far base material required is concerned.  In fact the welder could have qualified using P1  base materials for both P8 and P10H base metals.

However, customer requirements may restrict qualification.

Clearly, applying the first instance in QW-423.1, performance qualification with P8 material

To All Concerned,

A new qualification is required in this case. Qualification on other austenitic stainless steels(P No 8) does not permit the validity of qualification for duplex stainless steels (P No 10H). It's clearly stated under QW-353, please see the extract below.

F No for both ASS and DSS are the same, F5 for SMAW (SFA 5.5) and F6 for GTAW/GMAW(SFA 5.9).

Thanks.
