[MW:27140] HOW TO DECIDE NUMBER OF WELDING PASSES REQUIRED TO BE WELDED BASED ON THICKNESS OF BASE PLATE? OR FOR DIFFERENT PLATE THICKNESS

Can any one guide me pleaseeeeeee

Based on the base metal thickness or thickness of shell plate how to decide the approximate number of welding passes to be required???..........

For Example:  IF the thickness of the plate is as given Below

  1.  8 mm thickness shell plate how many welding passes required?
  2. 12 mm thickness plate how many welding passes required?
  3. 25mm thickness plate how many welding passes required????
  4. 29mm thickness plate how many welding passes required?
  5. 33mm thick plate
  6. 36mm thick plate
  7. 39mm thick plate
  8. 41mm thick plate
  9. 45mm thick plate
like this just by knowing the thickness of the plate i must decide and calculate the number of welding passes to be required for this plate thickness

is there any theoretical formula and or excell sheet or methods to calculate the number of welding passes for different plate thicknesses ???????????

just guide me any CALCULATION FORMULA????
just guide me any EXCEL SHEET ?????????
ANY ATTACHMENT MATERIALS??????

PLEASE GUIDE ME...............................IF ANYTHING LIKE THAT
