We have a feed water piping ( A 106 C ) thickness is 47 mm we remark a thickness lost of 3.5 to 4 mm( during supports modification ).
Our construction team propose to repair this damage by welding ( the same WPS used for production ) and after PWHT and NDE .
According your experience this solution it's acceptable or we should cut the damaged area and replace by new spool ?
