Hi Dinesh
Surprised that client is asking to prove the strength. The usage of the particular electrode and spec/lot certificate from the manufacturer should suffice. If you are doing field welding then you will have to prove quite differently as they may not approve fcaw with shielding gas.

Dear sir,

I need 1 help from you that as following.

1. we are doing bridge fabrication for L & T as per indian standard.For fillet stiffener welding they have approved SMAW .

During SMAW we found numer of undercuts & slow process in welding.

2. We have recommended to use FCAW E71T-C welding process instead of SMAW E7018 . They are partially agreed & asking to submit that process comparison to choose FCAW to ensure that it fullfill the strenght of weld.

Please share your opinion.
