Hi, yes you can. Before that you should verify that material to comply with all code requirements as well as transfer mark(Heat no/Code marking etc., as per your quality system),then you can proceed.

Dear all, I am working for a company ,our company is manufacturing ASME U stamp vessel, as per drawing we cut nozzel location on dish head, but after two months later clients revised the drawing & they shifted the Nozzel position , so may question is can we make two new hole in new drawing location & use that parent metal to cover the previous hole ,is it acceptable as per ASME,
