Dear Larry,
Refer QW 351.
For each welding process, the welder has to be qualified.
So with GMAW/FCAW qualification, welder is not qualified for GTAW.
Further more, Welder is not qualified for all practical diameters. He is qualified for 2 7/8" OD and above and plates only, as he is qualified with 4" NB pipe.
