Dear Ezat
This casting is a defective casting could be an old and used, as now a days
the valves suppliers
pick up the scrapped castings also and use them after a bit of
cleaning/painting. This is clearly
seen in this case as the neck shows the signs of having some sort of putty
filled and dressed up.
The other possibility is that it is a 3rd Grade casting used to meet the
urgent requirements.
The recommendation is that IT SHOULD NOT BE ACCEPTED.
