Re: [MW:18248] I need a clarification, is FCAW process comes under gas metal arc welding process?

It is different...
I wonder why so many colleagues say it is Gas Metal Arc Welding.
The essential for FCAW is the flux which is inside filler metal not the gas.
You may use FCAW with or without gas but you can't use it without flux.

So be sure that it's different. ASME Sec. IX has tables which
specifies the essential variables of each process including GMAW and
FCAW.
