Dear PKM,

 

Please refer SEC-XI   QW-403.9, 13mm (t Pass > 1⁄2 in. (13 mm)) WELD DEPOSITION IS PERMITED BUT IN CASE OF MORE THEN 13 MM in a single pass, an increase in base metal thickness beyond 1.1 times that of the qualification test coupon.
