Can you give clearity.
6 months back we are established wps of welder for 6G of 40mmthk SA516 Gr70 plate i,e qualified for range of 80mm metal thickness.. but now i want requlify welder range of 50mm maximum metal thickenss to be weld
Question 1) can i use same wps to re qualify same welder.
2)can i use same PQR 25mmplate sothat i can weld upto50mm thk.
i have constraint that i do not have 40mm 516 Gr70 plate, i have 25mm thk SA516 plate.
Please suggest best option.
