You can Take RT any time before Hydro or Pneumatic test but you need to get a NDE clearance from the Client before to start up the test ...

 

Paitning/Priming does not matter for taking RT as per ASME .

we are fabricating a Pipe line for Natural gas . Now the contractor has done Primer on Joints also before the NDT testing.

How it is going to affect it & what are the remedy for that.
