Subject: [MW:22634] Corrosion Resistance Overlay process (CRO)
Dear Expert,
As I have to prepare Welder certificate(WPQ) for Corrosion Resistance Overlay process (CRO) I need help for following things
1) Base metal Thickness Qualification Range for Plate,& Pipe
2) Weld deposit Thickness
3) Position
I have used 6mm Thk C.S. plate & Made overlay up to 5mm with S.S. electrodes in 1G position no groove configuration in plate
welder can qualify for groove & fillet weld ? Which ASME Sec IX clause refer for these please advice
