Re: [MW:22545] Volume of permissible welding in Casting

Thanks Sir.

So this means there is no thumb rule. My senior was saying that a maximum of 3% of casting weight is allowed for welding. I dont know where he got it from.

Hello,

Is there any clause in any code which depicts the limitation of permissible welding (volume/percentage?) in a casting?

Any kind of casting,

Thanks.
