[MW:33217] FILLER WIRE ER308 FOR SS TO CS JOINT

Dear Experts,

Greeting for the day.

If I want to weld ss to cs can I use ER-308 filler if not then why Because when I saw the chemical composition of ER308 and ER309L the difference is 

                  ER308                                          ER309L

C%           0.08                                          0.03

CR%         19.5-22                                     23-25

NI%            9-11                                         12-14

EXCEPT ALL COMPOSITION IS THE SAME IN BOTH METAL
