Dear Members,
I'm m here to clear my dout regarding welder qualification diameter range.
With respect to asme sec 9 QW 452.3, a welder test coupon in the range of 1 inch(25) to 2 7/8(73)..he qualified 1 inch(25) and above..[for ref: plz go through ASME SEC-9].
My dout is :-
(1) In bracket ( as per QW-452.3 ) mentioned reading belongs to NPS or OD....???
(2)Does he is qualified to do welding on 3/4 inch. Pipe With above mentioned range...??
Please help me...
