[MW:29321] RE: 29316] S275JR

Saravanan,

This material is unassigned(No P No as per ASME Sec-IX). Please see the extract from 2017 code on some of the materials in P275 series.

You require a new PQR on the exact material grade.

Thanks.

Subject: [MW:29316] S275JR

Gents,

I have some queries on Subject material ,What is equivalent to S275JR as per SEC IX ?

If it is un assigned material , We can weld WPS qualified already in S235JR to A-106 Grade B or we have to qualify new WPS ?

Regards,

Saravanan
