Re: [MW:20399] PRHT for SA 335 P22

I would say if WPS / PQR comes OK, what is the harm? If required add PWHT in subsequent modification to WPS and be better off.

Dear all,
Weld completed for Main Steam Line Pipe size is Dia.323,9mm, thickness 33,32mm.
AI approved WPS available, no  preheat, PWHT is 720C, Code ASME B31.1.
Weld completed without preheat. PWHT applied as WPS.
As far as I know preheat should be 200C-300C essential.
We already applied micro structural test and there were not any abnormalities.
What could be, what we can do?

Best regards,
Eyup Tan
