Is a WPS is required for conducting WQT  :ANS : YES, WPS is req during the WQT
can we use a preliminary WQT  : ANS : NO
The WPSs shall be identical for all the essential variables, except for the
preheat temperature and PWHT requirements. or has an SWPS
adopted in accordance with Article V,ASME SEC-IX
