Dear Ganesh sir,
  Hardness values are dependent upon factors such as alloy content, weld preheat and postweld heat treatment. Specific hardness test for welded joints are not specified in asme sec -ix except Temper bead and overlay .

in your case hardness test is not required for low carbon  nickel-chromium-molybdenum-copper alloy steel
but it is also defend upon specification of  your customer ,design application or  service application so refer your  specification of customer

Is it a hardness test is required ? ( except tension & bend ).
Is this hardness requirement is requirement of other code like Sec II part B?
