There is no minimum thickness for welder qualification in ASME.
To qualify for maximum to be welded, besides the 13 mm you need at least 3 passes

Hai Experts,

       For WQT, as per ASME Sec IX QW 452.1 (b), up to 13mm thick qualified for 2t, above 13mm thick qualified for unlimited, but from the above what will be the minimum qualified thick.

For Example,

I qualified a wqt with 15mm, so now I qualified for unlimited thickness whether I can weld 4 mm wall thickness?
