Re: [MW:20395] reg - Duplex SS before welding the bevel surface cleaning with Acetone

I had the same problem since in my country buying acetone is controlled by the federal police, and only allows small volumes. We use isopropyl alcohol.
I would like to meet other alternatives.

Dear Experts

As per our company specification for Duplex SS before welding the
bevel surface should be cleaned with Acetone or any other cleaner
approved by client.
Hence am working in client side contractor proposed the cleaner which
we using for cleaning during penetrate test (DPT)
My question is that DPT cleaner is acceptable or any other
recommendation to replace the acetone from your experience

Am expecting your valuable comment pease
