[MW:13480] RE: 13478] Additional information into a PQR

Hi

You must have run the Impact test PQR in line with the same parameters of
original PQR which was qualified earlier. ( all essential variables must be
same. In addition, the Voltage, Current, travel speed also to be similar as
original PQR).

If so, you can make a new PQR, supporting with the original PQR.

But however, there is no provision in the Code to include the later test
results in the original PQR.

Only changes pertaining to wrong data input in the PQR or Code revision is
permitted (Ref QW-200.2(c)). In these cases, the PQR shall be recertified to
reflect the changes.

// "additional information can be incorporated into a PQR at a later date
provided the information is substantiated as having been of the original
qualification condition by lab record or similar data"//

The statement here is for, any missing information (Relates to Variables or
other information) not provided in the original PQR, may be included at
later stage, Provided these data are already recorded in the PQR run sheets
or lab reports.

The essence is, the PQR is a certificate issued based on the examination
(tests) which cannot be revised or altered for any reason. The additional
certifications may be issued separately.

Subject: [MW:13478] Additional information into a PQR

Dear All,

We have a PQR in which we did all the mechanical testing as per the
requirement of Sec IX.We would like to add some additional hardness and
impact test result to the same PQR.I have referred the code Para.
QW-200.2 which states that

"additional information can be incorporated into a PQR at a later date
provided the information is substantiated as having been of the original
qualification condition by lab record or similar data"

Can anyone tell me what are the documents to be added to the original PQR to
satisfy the code requirement.

Rins.
