As per my view nothing failure in service …

 

1.      All the welding which are done in the same manner are proved in NDT & HT for regular main lines, then in such case if golden tie in is not HT tested means not to be doubted its efficiency. all the weld strength and remaining parameters are same like as main line welding.

At what extent a joint is liable to fail during operation if it not hydrotested proof (Because due to some constructability reason this particular joint is closour weld/Golden joint).Assume the joint passed all NDE (Radio graphy &MPI/DPI).
