Hi, If you use E7018,then you have to do Proper baking regardless of material except A514 and A517 while you use E7018M and E70XXH4R as per AWS D1.1. Thanks & Regards, (Karthik)

material used is not A514 OR A517. material used is of very low grade. it is welding of angle bar. also the environment will be dry. it is structural work only used to provide addtional support to a grout and wall. the use of E6010 is allowed for this joint. but because of the unavailaibilty of E6010 , the E 7018 Electrode has been used. Also i think if the electrodes E 7018 are provided in hermetically sealed containers baking is not required.
