In my opinion cannot. Your procedure is only for D1.1 application.
When we will apply another code, so we have to follow the code we will refer to.

 I have a WPS qualified as per D1.1 – 8 inches for welding structural work, in 6G position,

My query is can I use these procedure to weld pipe work as per ASME IX for the same material?

Pls I need further clarification with codes support.
