[MW:3852] Welder Qualification- AWS D1.1

All,

Can we qualify 2 welders on 8" Pipe X 12.7mm wall thick for position 6G and 6GR as per AWS D1.1??

As per AWS clause 4.30.3.1, test pipe or tube welded in the 5G,6G or 6 GR position shall be radiographed from top central line to bottom centreline on either side.

Anyone have experience on similar qualification.

Cheers,
Alagu
