Dear All, After a long time i am here with some clarifications....... I hope i will get a detailed reply....... the doubt is, 1. Material Number- 1.4876 and UNS N08800. This is Inconel 800series you can use ERNiCr3 ,ENiCrFe2 or NiCrFe3 welding consumables There is no need of any PWHT for Inconel to inconel weld joint but If it is welded with Inconel to CS/LAS The PWHT temp and cycle govenrs the CS/LAS PWHT requirement as per UCS 56 of ASME code 2. Material Number- 1.4571 (316Ti)..... and its UNS S31625 It is used for high temp application where Ti avoids the sensatization You can use 316L type consumables with controlled heat input and lowerside Interpass temp say 150C max Generally There is no need of PWHT as per code However some client spec ask for stablizing treatment at high temp say at 950C and cool in air (This is similar to 308H type requirement)
for the above materials what is the electrode specification, class and whether heat treatment is there or not and how abt shielding gas.... pleaseclarify... awaiting for reply..... thank you.
