[MW:16080] SA/A 420 WPL6 fittings for use in PWHT service piping as per B31.3 and for vessels in ASME Sec VIII.

Reference para 7.4 from SA 420 WPL6 states "When the fittings are to be post-weld heat treated after being welded by the purchaser and when so specified in the order, the test specimens shall be subjected to the same post-weld heat treatment. The purchaser shall use the post weld heat treatment shown in Table 2, unless otherwise specified in the order."

Question 1) Since ASME Sec VIII Div 1 UCS 85(e) does not call for simulation heat treatment for P1 material for the standard component, however as per the clause 7.4 of SA 420 WPL 6 Is it necessary (In order to meet the ASME requirement) for the vessel manufacturer to inform the fitting supplier that the vessel is going to be used in a vessel and that the vessel is going to be post weld heat treated and the fitting need simulation heat treatment?

Question 2) Similarly What in case B31.3 is it mandatory to inform fitting manufacturer for simulated PWHT of test coupons?
