UT @ 1200° C????

UT of what material you are talking about? Hope it is not steel, as you are nearing the melting temperature of steel, which is around 1400° C.

But I had also heard that it can also be done at 1200 deg.cel. by using specially designed probe.
I will be very thankful if any one can provide me ASME code reference for d same.
