Did you get the certificate? The MTC certify that your plate has been tested and the results in compliance with the manufacturer standard. But, I always remember about: trust but verify.
Please look at table 1 - Permitted variations in A6/6M to get the answer. You're correct, variation thickness from your plate is 0,8 mm. However, Client spec specify his acceptance criteria higher than the manufacture standard in several occasion.

--Dear All,I am facing a problem in A 36 Material (Plate 6000mm X 1500mm).We need 8mm plate but we have plate with 7.2mm thickness.I consult from A 6/6M for acceptance criteria, but m little bit confuse.Code refers that if plate size with width 1200 to 1500mm having allowance 0.8mm with thickness 8mm either it is plus or minus,it is not mention in that table.so any one of you can guide about it..will be thank ful to you..Best Regards,Shirazi
