Dear All,

I need a clarification from u.

For dissimilar material ie. P1 and P8 ( 312 TP 316L) as per DGS recommends 309LMo. But the PQR qualifies only in 309L for dissimilar. There are no change in F number, P number, SFA number. But only Mo content. In 316L, 2% of Mo. But in filler of 309L only 0.75% of Moly. As in DGS specifically mentioned 309LMo for dissimilar for those category, can we use the same WPS or new PQR to qualify.

Need any separate procedure or no need?

Plz clarify.
