The new 2007 edition requires PT/MT after hydro for pressure boundary and attachment welds (both internal/external), when fatigue analysis is required.

I do not see benefit of NDT after hydrostatic test. If the result is "fail" for NDT, you will require repair and re hydrostatic test...
