TKY Joints are to be checked by experienced UT operators who are to be additonally qualified using mock up test peice of TKY Configuaration and same mock up TKY test peices may be obtained from TWI or use TKY Qualified CPN operators rather than ASNT LEVEL II  UT operators .

due to the geometry of the K,Y joint & limitation of access ,some area is missed during testing by ut in root and cap(especially in toe welds),now how can i aware about this area?
